Day 1: ARRIVAL at Entebbe and short briefing about your premium-safari-Uganda

  • Overnight at the hotel of choice at Entebbe
Day 2: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS N. P AND AFTERNOON SUNSET CRUISE
  • Morning breakfast
  • Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park; Murchison Falls NP is the country’s largest Wildlife Protected Area whose palm-studded grassland supports a dense population of lions, Buffaloes, Elephants and Uganda Cob together with the localized Rothschild`s Giraffe and Patas monkey. Immerse concentration of Hippos and birds observed from the morning and the afternoon launch trips along the Nile below the spectacular waterfalls from which the park is named, named by explorer Baker and his wife Florence in 1864 after the president of the Royal Geographical Society then.

Day 3: MORNING SAFARI AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE AND HIKE TO TOP OF THE FALLS
  • Morning breakfast
  • Morning Safari to the northern side of the Park.
  • Lunch at the lodge
  • Afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and hike to the Top of the fall; to see how the mighty river Nile funnels through a narrow fissure in the rift valley escarpment. After viewing the bottom of the falls, you shall disband from the boat to meet a Ranger to hike you up to the Top of the falls on Bakers trails to be amused by the waterfall named Murchison after Sir Murchison the President of the Royal geographical society. Come back in the evening to enjoy your sundowner at your lodge
  • You shall be met by your guide at the top of the falls for a drive back to your hotel tired but enthused by what you will have seen.

Day 4: DRIVE TO HOIMA CULTURAL LODGE

  • Transfer to Hoima Cultural Lodge

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST N. P
  • Morning breakfast
  • Transfer to Kibale Forest N. P; Kibale Forest is a lush tropical forest of fascinating diversity! one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in Africa. It is homes to the largest number of the human closest relative the endangered chimpanzees, the threatened red Columbus monkey and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The forest has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totalling 13 species including the black and white Columbus monkey, blue monkey and Grey-cheeked mangabey, Bushbabies and Pottos.

DAY 6: MORNING CHIMPANZEE TREKKING / AFTERNOON OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and meet with your ranger.
  • Chimpanzee trekking
  • This is a primatologist dream; it hosts a population of more than 1000 chimpanzees and an 80 strong community has been habituated to tourist visits as well as a half dozen readily observed monkey species including the acrobatic red Columbus, black and white red Columbus and the handsome L`Hohest monkey. These delightful apes are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in the trees; and the shady forest trails provides much more to delight Botanists, Butterfly lovers and Birders. 335 species of birds have been recorded on your premium-safari-Uganda
  • Lunch at the Lodge
  • Optional Bigodi Swamp Walk in the afternoon at the eastern side of the national park you will find Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a protected area situated in Magombe Swamp. Different trails are available to encounter a variety of birds (137 species), primates and butterflies. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is an initiative of the villagers of Bigodi and the revenues are shared by the local community.
  • Optional Bigodi Village Walk is another project initiated by the community is the Village Walk. This guided walk takes you for a closer meeting with the Bigodi Trading Centre. Accompanied by a guide, who can tell you everything about the traditional customs and lifestyle of this tribe, you will follow the village path and visit a primary school, Catholic church, traditional homesteads, learn about the crops and listen to the storytelling of a Mzee (elderly man).

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH N.P
  • Breakfast
  • Transfer to Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth N.P
  • Check-in and Lunch at the lodge
  • Enjoy a Sundowner safari! in search of Wildlife.
  • Overnight at Mweya/Bush Lodge  (FB)

DAY 8: FULL DAY SAFARI ACTIVITIES

  • Early morning breakfast
  • Early morning safari in search of tree climbing lions and other wildlife.
  • Lunch at the lodge
  • Afternoon safari in search of more wildlife and colourful birds.
  • Overnight at  Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park (FB)
DAY 8:  TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI
  • Early breakfast
  • Drive through isasha sector
  • Lunch at Lake Bunyonyi
  • Continue to your lodge for check-in
  • Optional activities: Community visits, Canoe trips, birding, etc
  • Overnight: Arcadia@ lake Bunyonyi –  2x Rooms -Lake View  (FB)
DAY 9: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE AIRPORT – DEPARTURE IF IT’S A LATE FLIGHT
  • Morning breakfast
  • Lunch en route
  • Possible to have dinner at Guineafowl or Hotel no.5 (own account)
  • Transfer to Entebbe Airport for a late evening departure flight

Optional extra $150 per person for the extra night if the flight is the next day.

DAY 10: Close to the end of your premium-safari-Uganda and head back to Entebbe airport
